10 new location pages, a critical bug fix, and a free reviews system — shipped live

Master summary — the gist in 30 seconds

TL;DRThe site now covers 10 more Hungarian towns/highways, a bug that was hiding half the site from Google is fixed, and reviews will soon update themselves for free.

Input: a plan to grow from 9 to 19 location pages plus a technical health check. Output: 10 new pages live on csupiautomentes.hu, a critical indexing bug fixed, internal links added, and 3 reusable SEO playbooks saved for future projects.

Why this mattersMore real, distinct pages for real search terms means more chances to show up when someone searches 'autómentő ' — and the indexing bug fix means Google can finally see the site properly instead of getting confused by broken links.

1 · Picked 10 new towns using real data, not guesses

TL;DRPulled actual Google search-volume numbers instead of assuming which towns matter.

Input: 34 candidate keyword phrases (nearby towns + motorways). Output: the 10 real winners — Csepel, the M6/M0/M1 highways, Biatorbágy, Budakeszi (home base), Pilisvörösvár, Piliscsaba, Zsámbék, and Törökbálint (the one judgment call, flagged honestly since it measured 0 but sits on a major junction).

Why it mattersBuilding a page for a town nobody searches for is wasted work. This way every new page is aimed at a real, measured audience.

2 · Found and fixed a bug that was quietly hurting every page

TL;DRMistyped or old web addresses were showing Google a fake copy of the homepage instead of a proper 'not found' — a likely reason many pages weren't showing up in search.

Input: a Search Console report showing hundreds of pages 'crawled but not indexed'. Output: confirmed the exact cause live (any broken link returned a sneaky copy of the homepage instead of an honest error page), and fixed it with a proper error page.

Why it mattersGoogle treats a flood of fake duplicate pages as a red flag and can down-rank the whole site because of it. This was likely the single biggest thing holding the site back — bigger than any content problem.

3 · Reviews will soon refresh themselves automatically, for free

TL;DRBuilt the plumbing for the site to always show fresh Google reviews — just needs one more login step from Matt to switch on.

Input: a static, never-changing list of 10 old reviews on every page. Output: a free, automatic system (checks Google once a day) ready to go — it just needs a Google API key and a small permissions upgrade before it goes live. Until then, nothing changes — the current reviews keep showing exactly as before.

Why it mattersFresh reviews build more trust than a list that's frozen in time, and this approach costs nothing to run.

⏭️ Next steps

TL;DRTwo things need Matt; everything else is done and live.

1) Reply to the Slack thread about Google Business Profile access (drafts ready to send to the client). 2) When convenient, unlock the reviews auto-update by upgrading one Cloudflare permission and getting a free Google API key (steps documented). Everything else — the 10 pages, the bug fix, the internal links — is already live, no action needed.

💡 Fun facts & practical stuff

TL;DRA few surprises from this session.

• The exact same 'M31 highway' text was accidentally baked into the hidden Google data on ALL 9 existing pages (even the Diósd page's hidden data claimed to be about the M31) — fixed sitewide. • Törökbálint showed zero measured search volume but was kept anyway because it sits on a major highway junction — flagged as a judgment call rather than hidden as 'data-backed'. • Tried to check what competitors' pages look like in Google search results, but Google/Bing both blocked the automated check (CAPTCHA) — reported honestly instead of guessing. • Found a small found a stray old GitHub access key sitting in a project file from months ago — worth a quick rotation when convenient, not urgent.
